MLK Day Community Celebration
City of Tallahassee MLK Day Community Celebration - January 19, 2026
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. dedicated his life to the pursuit of social justice and equality. The City of Tallahassee honors his life and legacy and invites the community to celebrate his profound impact during free MLK Weekend events.
The City, with support from other agencies and community organizations, will host the annual MLK Day parade on Jan. 19, 2026. The parade will begin at noon and move along Monroe Street downtown. At the conclusion of the parade, the community is invited to join in festivities downtown along Adams Street, which will feature a variety of activities, guest speakers, performances and musical entertainment by DJ L-Smooth. The City’s annual Day of Dialogue will be held at City Hall, 300 S. Adams Street. More details to come.
