Is there any stormwater pond capacity near my project site?

To assess whether stormwater capacity is available at nearby ponds, an applicant's engineer would need to do the following:

• The City's internal GIS includes a layer for stormwater operating permits. The applicant should call a member of our engineering staff at 850-891-7001, option 4, to obtain any applicable stormwater operating permit number.
• The applicant's engineer should assess whether the operating permits drain to the pond in question.
• For those operating permits that do drain to the pond in question, the applicant's engineer should request the pond operating permit through our Records Management staff.
• The applicant's engineer can determine if the proposed project has stormwater capacity available at a particular pond by tabulating the capacity consumed by existing operating permits.
